BTS' fifth full-length album "ARIRANG" has been certified platinum by the Italian Music Industry Association (FIMI), the group's agency Big Hit Music said Wednesday. The certification, awarded on Nov. 2, marks the first time a K-pop artist has received platinum status in Italy, with FIMI granting the honor to albums reaching 50,000 units combining physical sales, digital downloads, and streaming figures. Yonhap and other Korean outlets reported the milestone, with the album released in March.
