Bukang-i the shark, which had been guided out of a canal in Busan after more than a month trapped there, has returned to the waterway, spotted swimming Thursday morning in a narrow section of the canal. This comes a day after authorities succeeded on their third attempt to guide the shark back to the open sea, following two earlier failed efforts. Korean outlets report the shark has now defied the rescue efforts and re-entered the canal, though details on next steps are not yet available.
