The shark was seen swimming in the narrow canal Thursday morning, having slipped under a net installed to prevent its re-entry, according to Yonhap and KBS World reports. Authorities had succeeded on their third attempt to guide the shark to the open sea, but it defied the rescue efforts and came back overnight.
