Cold wave advisories are in effect across most of Korea as of Wednesday, with the nation set to see its coldest morning so far this fall. The Korea Meteorological Administration said Tuesday that morning lows will dip below zero in inland areas, with temperatures dropping about 10 degrees Celsius from the previous day in parts of northeastern Gyeonggi Province and inland and mountainous Gangwon Province, according to the Korea Times and KBS World. The advisories took effect as chilly air from the northwest moves in, with the Korea Times reporting freezing temperatures for Wednesday morning.
