Police in Asan, South Chungcheong Province, have closed the case of a fetus found at a sewage treatment facility after identifying the mother through DNA testing and finding no criminal intent, Yonhap and Dong-A Ilbo report. The mother told police she went to the bathroom due to severe abdominal pain and flushed the toilet without realizing she had given birth. The case was closed with no charges.
