On October 26, ILLIT held a media showcase for their 5th mini album 'BREAK EVEN' at Blue Square in Seoul's Hannam-dong (Yongsan-gu), with the title track 'You're Under Arrest' (체포하겠어) released that afternoon at 6 PM. The album's concept shifts from one-sided love to a playful 'arrest warrant' theme, as described by Korea Times. Ahead of release, Spotify ranked 'BREAK EVEN' No. 1 on its 'Pre-save Top 10' on October 23, and the title track's stage video charted on YouTube's popular charts in 13 regions including Korea, the US, and Japan, per Koreaboo. At the showcase, ILLIT directly addressed the controversy over their alleged policewoman sexualization outfit, expressing gratitude, as reported by Koreaboo. Chosun Ilbo photo coverage highlighted the group's 'addictive' performance and 'cute' return, with members like Minju delivering intense stages.
