A check-in system malfunction at Incheon International Airport on Friday caused major delays in passenger processing, starting around 4:30 a.m. and affecting airline networks, with some airlines' ticketing suspended and flights delayed. The system was restored after about 5 hours, with 35 flights affected and around 1,200 passengers inconvenienced, according to Yonhap and KBS World reports. The disruption was attributed to intermittent communication issues in the ARINC network, and while Korean national carriers saw no delayed departures, Chinese airlines' travel products were delayed.
