Ask what Korea is talking about.

North Korean leader Kim Jong-un attended the “Unmanned Aviation Technology Development-2026” exhibition on October 29, where the military publicly fired 600mm super-large multiple rocket launchers and conducted live drone strikes, according to state media KCNA. Yonhap reports the event included a combat firing of the so-called “sniper” 600mm rocket, first shown to the public, and drones attacking mock targets modeled on South Korean front-line guard posts and US M1 Abrams tanks. Kim was quoted as saying, “Power is peace.” The Korea Times separately reported a weapons demonstration featuring suicide drones, cruise missiles, and a super-large rocket launcher, held Thursday in connection with the event. South Korean media, including Dong-a Ilbo, framed the display as a show of force against Seoul and Washington.
