North Korean leader Kim Jong-un arrived in China's border city of Dandong via a newly opened bridge linking the two nations, a South Korean government source told Yonhap News Agency on Saturday, Oct. 24. Yonhap and Korea Times report the visit is Kim's first to China in more than a year, citing the source. Later reports say Kim left Dandong, seen off by China's top political adviser, according to Xinhua, and a ruling party source indicated he appeared to plan to return home Saturday.
