KT is launching 'Token Factory,' an AI platform that lets customers choose from over 500 domestic and international AI models and manage usage and costs in one place, with billing based on token usage. The service launches for enterprise customers on October 30, with a consumer version planned for March next year. KT says the platform can cut token usage by up to 25% through prompt compression and model routing, and it will not answer questions containing personal information. KT's Lee Jin-hyung, head of the AX business division, said brokerage fees are not the main business model; instead, KT will run models on its own GPUs to produce tokens and generate revenue.
