LG Electronics reported that its cumulative operating profit for the first three quarters of 2026 exceeded 4 trillion won for the first time, reaching 4.0347 trillion won, with cumulative revenue of 71.3778 trillion won, according to Yonhap and Dong-A Ilbo. The third-quarter operating profit alone was 781.9 billion won, up 13.5% year-on-year, and revenue was 23.8241 trillion won, up 8.9%. The company attributed the results to strong performance in home appliances, TV, and automotive electronics (electric components), with the TV business turning to profit and the automotive electronics segment posting record third-quarter sales and operating profit. LG Electronics also noted that its AI data center cooling solution orders surpassed 3 trillion won, and it is accelerating new businesses such as robotics, with plans to strengthen AI and robot competitiveness.
