LG Electronics unveiled the 'LG DiOS AI Obje Collection STEM' ice and water refrigerator on October 26, featuring an AI function and a drawer-style freezer. The STEM is a direct water supply refrigerator brand that provides various ice shapes like craft ice and cube ice. The new product replaced the existing bottom freezer that opens on both sides with a freezer composed of a middle and bottom drawer. LG stated that the freezer and refrigerator modes can be freely switched, and the AI learns usage habits to control cooling. Korea Economic Daily reported that the AI suggests how to store ingredients and adjusts the cooling.
