LG Electronics announced on October 25 that it will supply its large-capacity commercial washer 'LG Professional' to German commercial laundry solutions firm Schilling starting next month, as part of its push into the European B2B market. Schilling provides laundry equipment to laundromats and dry cleaners across Germany, and LG will combine remote management services with the products. Maeil Business reports that LG's European commercial washer sales are up 20% this year, and it aims to preempt the growing $11.4 billion commercial laundry market. Yonhap and other outlets note the deal strengthens LG's global B2B strategy.
