LG Electronics announced on October 25 that it will supply large-capacity commercial laundry appliances, branded 'LG Professional', to the German company Schilling next month. Schilling provides laundry equipment and solutions to laundromats and dry cleaners across Germany. The move is part of LG's strategy to expand its B2B business in Europe, targeting demand from hotels, medical, and industrial sectors. Maeil Business Newspaper reports that LG's European commercial washer sales have grown 20% this year, and the company aims to capture a share of the growing commercial laundry market, which it estimates at $11.4 billion. The Chosun Ilbo and Yonhap also covered the announcement, noting the deal follows LG's participation in the European laundry expo Expo Detergo International 2026 in Milan.
