SK Group Chairman Chey Tae-won will chair the board of HYAICO Corporation, the U.S.-based artificial intelligence investment arm of SK hynix, according to documents filed with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC). The filing, submitted on Nov. 3 (local time), names Chey as board chairman and Song Hyun-jong, an SK hynix president, as CEO. Yonhap and the Korea Times report the move, with Chosun Ilbo noting HYAICO was established in January.
