SK hynix reported a record third-quarter operating profit of 83.33 trillion won ($62.8 billion), up 632.1% year-on-year, with quarterly revenue of 104.6 trillion won ($75.25 billion) — the first time it has surpassed 100 trillion won in a quarter, Yonhap and Business Korea report. Net profit came to 39.78 trillion won, up 215.7%, and the operating margin reached about 80%, with over half of sales under long-term contracts, according to Yonhap. The company also announced an additional 60 trillion won in shareholder returns, Yonhap reports.
