SK hynix reported record third-quarter results, with operating profit of 83.33 trillion won ($62.8 billion) and revenue of 104.6 trillion won ($75.25 billion), marking the first time quarterly revenue surpassed 100 trillion won, according to Yonhap and Business Korea. The company attributed the surge to AI-driven demand for high-bandwidth memory (HBM) and server DRAM, and said it has already contracted half of its production capacity for the next two years, pushing back against concerns of an AI peak.
