Americans voted Tuesday in the 2026 midterm elections, deciding whether President Donald Trump's Republicans keep control of Congress or face Democratic majorities, with surveys and nonpartisan analysts favoring Democrats to take the House, Korea Times reports. Voters, struggling with high prices and angry over an unpopular war with Iran, will deliver a verdict on Trump's second term, while observers keep close watch at the polls after a surge in early voting, the outlet adds. KBS World notes the elections will get underway with Americans voting on Trump's presidency. A Korea Times columnist calls it "the most critical midterm election of my lifetime."
