North Korean leader Kim Jong-un arrived in China's border city of Dandong on Saturday via a newly opened bridge linking the two nations, according to a government source cited by Yonhap News Agency. He met with Beijing's top political adviser during the visit, and was later seen off by the adviser as he left Dandong, Yonhap reports. A ruling party source indicated Kim appeared to be planning to return home Saturday after the visit. Korean outlets are reporting the event as a sign of ties between the two countries, with the visit coming amid a push for closer relations.
