President Lee Jae Myung on Saturday visited Cheongsong and Yeongyang counties in North Gyeongsang Province, both pilot areas for his flagship rural basic income program, to inspect local changes since implementation. He met residents and small business owners, with a young entrepreneur telling him, "Thanks to basic income, business is worth doing," according to the presidential office.
