Lotte Shopping announced on November 2 that Lotte Mall West Lake Hanoi has reached cumulative sales of 1 trillion won ($720 million) three years after its launch. The mall achieved 100 billion won in sales just 122 days after opening in January 2024 and surpassed 600 billion won last year, growing by an average of over 20% per quarter to reach the milestone. Korea Times reports that this is the first time a Korean department store's overseas branch has achieved cumulative sales of 1 trillion won.
